Wild Mushroom Hunting
The Menalon Forest rich in flora is an ideal environment for the fruiting of wild mushrooms. In Autumn and Spring if the conditions are favorable after heavy rains the first mushrooms appear and invite us to collect them. With wicker baskets and by the instructions of the certified mushroom collector Panagopoulos Panagiotis, the harvest is done in combination with a beautiful hike.
After a long mushroom hunt, we will cook and taste the mushrooms we collected next to natural water springs.
